I believe the body is our Temple. It's really all we as individuals physically have. If everything and everyone else vanished, all that'd be left is YOU: your soul and the vessel it's held in. Think about it.
You'll see me harp on the fact that being healthy and happy is a CHOICE. Sometimes it's a hard one to make, but in the end it always pays off. That's why I like to think of the alternatives when faced with dietary temptation. For example: When I REALLY want a brownie sundae from Baskin Robbins, what will give me the same sort of satisfaction, while nourishing my body at the same time? (Suggestions? Anyone?... Really- please help!)
There's no "one right way" to do it. Everyone's different. I've chosen to cut out meat from my diet, but that doesn't mean it will work for everyone. While I've tried several methods, right now I'm sticking with the one that works for me. This will no doubt change over time and I welcome that.
Keep your loved ones close. That's what life's about: feeling good, being loved and enjoying the little things. It'll get you through!
